Hooray! Koko Black on Collins Street has finally jumped on the high tea trend with its new Queen of Hearts menu!

From www.kokoblack.com.au:

“Koko Black Collins Street is undergoing a transformation. Beautiful curtains, a stunning back counter display, pavement seating and longer opening hours are just a few of the small touches designed to enhance the experience at this salon. However the significant news is the launch of the Queen of Hearts menu, Koko Black’s interpretation of the revered high tea, created by Koko Black Head Pastry Chef Adam Tippins. Sweet and savoury items come together with our signature chocolate beverages to deliver a daily high tea like no  other, served on beautiful Wedgewood ‘Queen of Hearts’ tiered plates. Savoury options will include shortcrust flaky pastry tarts of leek and ricotta, hot pressed sandwiches of pastrami and gruyere while sweet options include a chocolate opera cake, Alice lamington and fruit galette. The patient among us may wait for the Queen of Hearts to come to their nearest Koko Black over the coming year, but for the rest of us, a detour to Collins Street will be royally rewarded.”

Yum, can’t wait to try it out!!

Koko Black is located at 52 Collins Street, Melbourne and is open Monday – Friday 7:30am – 6:00pm and Saturdays from 11:00am to 5:30pm.
